Keystone Image by Conlee Wilson-Ivan
Always a popular area. It is 52 kms north on Hwy 23 and parking is limited. This is a very large are for more experienced riders as there are large bowls and very long climbs. Make sure you check the avalanche conditions before heading up the Keystone. It is a remote area so take extra gas and take gear accordingly.
There are some seasonal snowmobile closure areas North of the Keystone trail and south of the Keystone cabin. Watch for caribou and please respect these closures.
The front side of Keystone has some great tree riding, for low visability days but the back end to Keystone needs to be saved for a sunny or brighter day.
