Welcome to the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club’s website!

026

We are very proud to say that 2018 is our 50th year as a registered snowmobile club in the province of BC, making us one of the oldest and largest registered clubs in the province.

We hope you enjoy the website and we will work to keep you updated on club events and happenings in the snowmobile world around Revelstoke. Let us know if you would like to see something specific on the site.

The club promotes the safe and responsible use of snowmobiles and encourages all snowmobilers to practice environmental awareness while using the backcountry. We also promote avalanche awareness for snowmobilers.

The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club is a signing partner on a Trail Management Agreement with Government, we hold a management agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails to be able to groom both Boulder and Frisby and charge a fee.
We have also made application to manage 4 other snowmobile areas in Revelstoke, Turtle, Hall, Sale and Griffin Mtns.
We also hold a management agreement with Government regarding mountains in the Revelstoke area that are open to snowmobiling while areas of the mtns. are closed for Mtn. Caribou habitat during the winter. These areas are Frisby, Sale and Keystone. Please make sure you know the closure borders in these areas Jan. 1/17 through Apr. 15/17.

The mandate of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club is to promote the recreational sport of snowmobiling, to work with Government to keep our riding areas open for us all to enjoy and at the same time to promote awareness of the protected areas for mountain caribou. We also co-ordinate club events that benefit local charities and snowmobilers.

We strive to improve our infrastructure each year and ensure that Revelstoke is the “destination of choice”.
